E+H Oxymax COS61 / COS71 Optical Dissolved Oxygen Sensors
The Oxymax COS61 and COS71 are optical dissolved oxygen sensors for fast, drift-free measurement with very low maintenance. Because the sensor works on a luminescent principle there is no electrolyte, no membrane and no chemicals to replace.
Key advantages
- Optical measurement: no electrolyte handling, no membrane replacement
- Long-term stable fluorescence layer with oxygen selectivity and no interference
- Fast response time, ideal for aeration control loops
- Measurement free of drift, reducing calibration effort
- Memosens digital technology for safe data transmission
- Sensor can be calibrated in the laboratory, enabling predictive maintenance
- Hygienic versions available for food, beverage and pharmaceutical use
Version guidance
- COS61-A1F0: standard version for water and wastewater, immersion or flow assembly mounting
- COS71-A0F: hygienic version with stainless steel housing for sanitary applications
Applications
- Aeration basin control in wastewater treatment plants
- Drinking water oxygen enrichment and corrosion protection
- Process water and industrial water monitoring
- Fish farming and surface water monitoring
- Beverage, pharmaceutical and biotechnology processes
Compatible transmitters include Liquisys COM253 and Liquiline CM442. Matching assemblies such as COA250 and CLA111 are also available.
