The ANet series smart communication management unit is built on an embedded hardware computer platform with multiple downstream communication interfaces and one or more upstream network interfaces. Acting as a bridge between the data acquisition terminals and the platform system in an information collection system, it can collect and aggregate data from terminal devices such as water meters, gas meters, energy meters and microcomputer-based protection relays according to different acquisition protocols, and forward the field device data to the platform system using the corresponding protocols.
The ANet smart communication management unit supports receiving commands issued by the superior master station system and forwarding them to smart units within the target area, performing remote open/close control of switchgear and parameter setting of devices within the substation, thereby achieving remote control and remote adjustment functions for dispatching remote-control commands.
As the communication interface device between the automation system network and monitoring equipment, the ANet smart communication management unit provides protocol conversion, transparent forwarding, data encryption and compression, data conversion, edge computing and many other functions.
The ANet smart communication management unit processes data acquisition and data forwarding in real-time multi-task parallel mode and can upload platform data over multiple links. Through dedicated configuration management software, each channel can be assigned its own communication protocol, and the number of metering devices connected to the unit and the data information can be changed by modifying the configuration file without altering the software program.
