5XF-7.5A Compound Seed Cleaner brings air screening, screening, destoning and grading together in one mobile machine. It is the practical choice for seed companies and processors who need clean, evenly graded seed with stones removed in a single pass.
Working principle
Separation starts with the vertical air screen. Seed and impurities have different critical velocities, so adjusting the air velocity lifts light impurities into the dust collector for central discharge, while good seed passes through twin vertical air screens and enters the destoner at the feed end of the vibrating screen. There, a fish-scale deck and friction separate sand and soil particles, which leave through the stone outlet. The destoned material then enters the vibrating screen, which discharges large impurities, small impurities and graded seed separately. Four-deck and multi-deck versions are available so cleaning and grading are completed in one pass. Because crops and varieties differ in size, changing to the correct punched screen sheet gives the grading you need.
