5XZC-5 Maize Seed Processing Trailer is a mobile, all-in-one unit that combines a vertical air screen, a two-deck vibrating screen and a maize thresher on a single road-towable chassis. It is designed for seed companies, cooperatives and grain handlers who need to thresh, clean and grade maize seed at the farm gate or in the field instead of hauling the crop to a fixed plant.
Working principle
The machine separates by aerodynamics. Seed and impurities have different critical velocities, so by adjusting the air velocity, light chaff, dust and empty kernels are lifted into the settling chamber and discharged, while sound seed passes the air screen and enters the vibrating screen. The two-deck screen then grades by geometry: changing the perforated screen sheets to the size that matches the crop gives an accurate size separation. Three discharge outlets are provided.
